Hello, My name is Ann Nichols. I was raised in Fort Worth. I am a product of FWISD. I graduated from Southwest High School. I earned my Bachelors of Science degree from Texas Wesleyan University. My degree is in elementary education. I have been teaching since 2010.

This is my first year to work at the best school in Fort Worth, Richard J Wilson.

I have two daughters that are grown. I am a dog mom of two precious dogs. I live in SW Arlington. I enjoy cooking, reading, crafting and most of all spending time with my family.

 

Ms. Jazmin Rice

SPED Teacher

Hi! My name is Jazmin Rice. I was born and raised in Long Beach, California ( Go Jackrabbits c/o 2006). I look forward to teaching and growing with you all this school year!

Education:  Bachelor of Science in Interdisciplinary Studies, Texas Southern University 2011; Masters in Education, Special Populations, University of Houston 2017

Experience: I am an Education Specialist with 10+ years of experience. Between California and Texas,  I have held positions as an Academic Advisor, High School Special Education Self-Contained Behavior teacher, High School Special Education Transition Coach, and an Elementary School Special Education Case manager. Additionally, I have experience with Special Education eligibility assessments, MTSS processes and non-profit grant management. 

Why I Teach:  I look at teaching as the ultimate opportunity to pay it forward. I want to be apart of the shift!  “ Education is the most powerful weapon which you can use to change the world. ” Nelson Mandela

Fun Fact:  I am a 4th generation college graduate and 3rd generation educator! My husband and I have 3 kids, and we love to cook new recipes, watch movies, travel to new places and play video games together!
