Born & raised in Fort Worth Texas. I graduated from FWISD, PHS, class of 2000, in 2005, on I received my Bachelors in Bilingual Education from Texas Wesleyan University and in 2010, I received my Master’s in Educational Administration from Concordia University Texas. I have been teaching since 2005, in grades PreK-4th. I enjoy working in my hometown, in my home school and for my community. My hobbies include spending time with my 4 boys & husband, doing fitness and traveling. I am so excited for the new school year and working with RJW students and families. 

Nacida y creada en Fort Worth, TX. Me gradué de FWISD, PHS, en el año 2000, en el 2005 recibí mi bachillerato en Educación Bilingüe en la Universidad Texas Wesleyan y en el 2010, recibí mi Postgrado en Administración Educativa en la Universidad de Concordia Texas. He trabajado como maestra bilingüe desde el año 2005 en los grados Pre-K a 4to.  Disfruto trabajar en mi ciudad natal, en mi escuela de origen y para mi comunidad. Mis pasatiempos incluyen pasar tiempo con mis 4 hijos y mi esposo, hacer ejercicio y viajar. Estoy muy emocionada por el nuevo año escolar y de trabajar con los estudiantes y las familias de RJW. 

Mrs. Jessica Magro

GP Math/Science Teacher

I started teaching in FWISD in 2013 after graduating from Tarleton State University with my bachelor’s degree in interdisciplinary studies. I've taught 1st-4th grade since beginning my teaching career. I was born and raised in Fort Worth, TX, attending FWISD schools from elementary through high school. Now I've been married to my husband since June of 2016. We have a 5-year-old son and 2-year-old daughter. In my spare time I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, traveling and being outdoors. From a young age, my teachers and family instilled in me a deep passion for learning and a desire to inspire others. This strong foundation led me to pursue a career in education, where I could pass on that same inspiration to my students.
